Pierre Paulin
Paulin stretched jersey fabric over foam and steel frames to create low, sculptural seating for the Dutch maker Artifort, including the Mushroom, Ribbon and Tongue chairs. He also furnished the Élysée Palace for Presidents Pompidou and Mitterrand.
